Lulu is a licensed nail technician in West Hollywood, specialising in the Russian manicure and pedicure.
She works solo, one client at a time, and takes appointments in both Russian and English.

What makes it a Russian manicure
It is a dry technique. Instead of soaking the hands and pushing the cuticle back, the skin is lifted and cut away with an electric file under magnification.
That lets colour sit right up against the skin with no gap at the base — which is why the nails look tidy from every angle, and why the line where they grow out is so much softer.
